Grandad 
 
Well Grandad what can I say 
 
We have had great fun and laughs over the years 
and have done this so much that we also have shed a few tears of happiness.
You would always let us jump in your cab and drive round the alleyway
Which would always put nanny on tenterhooks, but you always told her ‘we’ll survive’ 
My life so far has been the best a girl could have, especially with you around us and being our London sat nav. 
Thank you for everything grandad, you were always there, even when we needed a moan you would still say ‘pull up a chair’ 
Things aren’t going to be easy with you gone, but I know you’re now happy with Nanny and you will both be up there to always cheer us on. 
I hope you and Nanny will remember that you both will never be forgotten 
And we will always pick ourselves up even if things hit rock bottom 
Sweet dreams Grandad it’s time for you both to rest
